Maddy Wear has been an exciting and challenging journey and it all started from a small idea and a sewing machine.

Our first bib was made out of a light-weight jean fabric that was available in the house when my bib frustration had reached an all time high. It then morphed to a cotton bib with a sew on snap and two velcro attachments. Now, each bib has is a 100% cotton shell, soft flannel absorbent fabric lining, and three sturdy stainless steel snaps.

I started sewing bibs for friends who were experiencing
the feeding issues I was. It was really those individuals who pushed me to pursue this further and make a business out of it. Maddy Wear was officially born July 7, 2009.

Over the last few years, I was sewing after working 50+ hours a week, which made it hard to promote my brand the way I wanted to. In October 2011, Maddy Wear became my full time job and we have made such tremendous progress! We now have over 50 styles and recently added a line of gift sets!

I sew every bib and really love the connection I have developed with my customers. One of my personal goals is to have Maddy Wear blossom to help support Madison's future education, while enjoying it every step of the way!
